Over 400 guests attended the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation’s Annual Gala Dinner in May this year to raise funds and awareness in support of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. The Animals with Attitude and Gala Dinner events successfully raised over $80,000 profit for the Foundation, but there is still a way to go to reach their target of $1 million a year to continue their fantastic work. ..

National fundraiser Melanoma March was successfully hosted on the Southern Gold Coast at The Strand at Coolangatta on Sunday 22 March. This was the first time the walk had been brought to Coolangatta at The Strand, assisted by CSGC, raising over $15,000 dollars for research into the deadly disease.  ..

CSGC ran a fundraiser at several Bleach* Festival events in March to raise funds for the Kane Bennett Family Trust. Many may know Kane was tragically struck by lightning at Worongary during the freak storm on Saturday 31 January, and funds raised will go towards supporting Kane’s wife and two young children, Max and Bella.  ..
