Senior Constable Kurt Foessel Awarded for Service

Senior Constable Kurt Foessel was awarded a District Officer’s Certificate at the Police Public Forum at Currumbin RSL on Thursday 23 November. 

Awarded by Inspector Greg Baade, Operations Chief of Coolangatta Police Station, Senior Constable Foessel was recognised for 10 years of service at the Elanora Neighbourhood Police Beat. His service has seen him focus on preventing crime and helping young people to become valued members of the community, including eight years as a Committee Member for the Youth Music Venture.

Senior Constable Foessel is the holder of the Australian Police Service Medal, The Queensland Police Service Diligent and Ethical Service medal, the 25 years National Police Service medal and in 2014, was awarded Gold Coast Police Officer of the Year (nominated 8 times) and Neighbourhood Watch Liaison Officer of the Year.

Congratulations to Senior Constable Kurt Foessel on this achievement and we are thankful for his contribution to our community.
