New Mural Welcomes GC2018 Visitors to Town

Posted on Tuesday, October 31, 2017

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games is fast approaching and Tugun Fruit Market’s existing mural is getting a makeover to welcome visitors to the seaside suburb.

A friendly ‘Welcome to the Gold Coast’ message will greet those travelling along the Gold Coast Highway and is set to be one of the Gold Coast’s biggest murals.

Local artist Kiel Tillman is bringing the artwork to life, which features a range of local flora and fauna plus our contrasting landscapes from the ocean to the hinterland.

The mural is expected to be fully completed by the end of November.
