Cooly Rocks On™ is back in 2018

Posted on Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Celebrating cars and culture from the 50s, 60s and now the 70s, Cooly Rocks On™ is returning to our seaside suburb from 6 – 10 June.

Australia’s largest 50s and 60s nostalgia festival will see culture ooze from every corner with five days of free entertainment.

Car Cruises, the Cooly Rocks Street Parade, Poodle and Pug Parade, Miss Cooly Rocks On™ and Miss Rockabilly pageants, sky diving displays, fireworks, market stalls and food vendors are all prominent features of the 2018 program.

New to 2018, the nostalgia festival will also become immersed in cars and culture up to and including the defining elements of the 70s as well as a Touring Car Masters display featuring race cars from the 60s and 70s.

Four live entertainment stages featuring everything from Rock’n Roll to Swing and Rockabilly will also return to Greenmount Beach, Warner Street, Dutton Street and Jack Evans Boat Harbour.
