Balter Voted Australia's Best Beer

Posted on Tuesday, January 30, 2018

Balter Brewing Company’s XPA has taken home first place in the GABS Festival's Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers in January.

Tens of thousands of beer lovers from across Australia had their say, voting the Currumbin brewery into number one position before being announced in Melbourne on 27 January, 2018.

Established in 2011, the GABS Festival is not only one of the world’s most iconic beer festivals, but showcases the best in upcoming and popular varieties.

Started by local and world champion surfers Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson, Bede Durbidge and Josh Kerr, Balter opened its doors in April 2016 and has now grown its compliment of craft beers to a total of four and counting.

We congratulate Balter Brewing Company on their ongoing success and for putting Currumbin firmly on the craft beer map.
